There are Five Characteristics we are looking for in our membership:

1. Availability – Dedicated time toward activities
2. Experience – Knowledge in one or more specific fields
3. Initiative – Taking appropriate action without direction
4. Output – Amount of progress towards certain goals
5. Utility – Functionality and usefulness of duties

Participation in Forgotten Forty activities and events will depend on the varying levels of advancement in each Characteristic.

1. Promoter – Occasional supporters who share information with others
2. Volunteer – Applicants who have been accepted and follow various directives
3. Advocate – Organize Volunteer programs and engage in independent activities
4. Surrogate – Oversee multiple Advocate Committees and serve as Executive proxies
5. Executive – Individuals who are formal members of legal political entities
